Caring for Your Kattu

Your Kattu & Co. pieces are made to be carried, loved, and enjoyed again and again. A little extra care will help keep them looking beautiful.

Washing & Care

Machine wash separately in cool water on a gentle cycle.

Use a mild detergent.

Do not bleach or use hot water.

Air dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight.

Gently reshape and fluff after washing.

A Note About Your Bag

Each piece is made with beautiful printed cotton fabrics, and slight variations in color and print are part of what makes them special.

Your bag may arrive slightly flattened from shipping. Simply reshape and fluff it to bring back its quilted shape.

A Little Fresh Air

Because our pieces travel a long way to reach you, you may notice a slight scent from the fabric or packaging when you first open your order.

We recommend letting your piece air out in a shaded, well-ventilated space. If you'd like to freshen it up a little more, simply toss it in the wash following the care instructions above. A gentle wash can help refresh your bag before its first adventure!
